Energy Performance Certificates (Domestic EPC)
ABBE & City and Guilds Accredited & Stroma Certified
Energy Performance Certificates are a requirement when you buy, sell or rent a home. You now also need an EPC when performing many energy upgrades and installation of many renewable energy products such as solar PV. The survey/assessment can take up to 2 hours (depending on your house size etc.) and the assessor will need access to all areas of the house to make detailed measurements and identify key energy components. The assessor will also need access to the loft, he will also need to take many photographs for evidence purposes. We will run through a full requirement questionnaire over the telephone before we arrive.
We provide a comprehensive service carried out by fully qualified Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) accredited by ABBE, City and Guilds & Stroma. Quality assured.
Domestic Solar PV Surveying
City and Guilds Accredited
Our City and Guilds accredited Solar PV surveyors are equipped to carry out a full solar PV survey which will include a health and safety assessment for installers and scaffolders, accurate roof measurements, an electrical survey & loft and roof suitability. The survey will also include any shading effect on the potential PV system, SAP calculations for estimated yield, the amount of panels to be fitted and the KW output. The survey can be completed between 30 mins to 1 hour and will require access to the south facing roof pitch, electrical equipment and loft space.

Detailed Floorplans (2D & 3D)
Property Inventories
Detailed floorplans are really a bolt on for Energy Performance Certificates and are generally provided for estate agents looking for a professional floorplan which provides all sizes of rooms, locations of utilities and general feel for the property. Can be produced in 2D & 3D.
Floorplans are carried out by our DEA in conjunction with an Energy Assessment.
Inventories are really a bolt on for Energy Performance Certificates and are generally provided for estate agents looking for a professional inventory of items of which a property possesses prior to letting. Photographic inventories are the way we do it at EPC Services South West.
